What is included when Heatfix is appointed to design the UFH?
The agreed design scope includes output calculations and loop layout. Manifold positions, floor build-ups, zoning, controls and flow temperatures are coordinated with the project requirements.
Why do floor finishes matter?
Screed, overlay systems, timber, stone, tile and microcement have different build-ups and thermal characteristics. They need to be understood before output and pipe layout are finalised.
Can UFH be coordinated with a heat pump?
Yes. The system still needs room-by-room output checks, practical loop lengths, appropriate controls and commissioning at realistic low flow temperatures. See the Wilmer House project.
